Firefox 2.0 & IE 7 Search Plugin
UPDATE: You MUST update the search plugin if you've installed it before December 4th, 2007. Read on how to delete the plugin, then redo the steps to install it.
So, didja notice that we had a new search plugin for the Jellyneo Item Database? If you didn't, you should get Firefox 2.0 or upgrade to Internet Explorer 7. Click here to download Firefox 2.0, and here for IE 7. Open the file and follow the install instructions. You should know the drill. If you don't know how to install either program, ask your parents for help! :)
Time to install our Item Database Search Plugin! If you've already installed the plugin and would like to uninstall it, scroll to the bottom.
For Firefox 2.0:
Step One: Click on the glowing search dropdown. This is what it looks like:
Step Two: Hit "Add 'Jellyneo Item Database Search'". It should then install itself. Click on the search dropdown again, and VIOLA! ;D It will automagically search for you when you enter a term and hit enter!
If you can't find it, it's the Fish Negg Plushie icon, just so you know. ;)
For Internet Explorer 7:
Step One: Click on the dropdown arrow near your search engine box in the top right corner of the browser.
Step Two: Click on the "Change Search Defaults" option, select the JN search, and then press "Set Default". Voila! You can now search JN's database right from anywhere you like!
To Uninstall for Firefox 2.0:
Step One: Click the Fish Negg icon in your search bar to get the drop down of search engines you've installed.
Step Two: Select "Manage Search Engines".
Step Three: Select the Jellyneo Item Database Search option, and click the "Remove" button.
To reinstall, simply follow the steps above.
To Uninstall for Internet Explorer 7.0:
Step One: Click the down arrow next to the magnifying glass button in the search bar.
Step Two: Select "Change Search Defaults...".
Step Three: Select the Jellyneo Item Database Search option, and click the "Remove" button.
To reinstall, simply follow the steps above.
