New Features!
Here are the latest features that we've added to the Item DB!
Neohome 2.0 Vision In Progress -- We're working on slowly adding previews for all of the Neohome 2.0 items. We currently have over 200 previews so far, with more on the way! :) To check out the previews, simply look up an items and on its item info page you'll find the Neohome Vision module with the preview. Some examples: Pink Lenny Painting, Private Rocketship.
New Search Features -- We've implemented a couple changes to our search algorithm! Here are the changes:
- Item Notes: A much requested feature, the item notes that we attach to some items are finally searchable via advanced search!
- Rarity Range: Just like price ranges, you can now search an inclusive range of rarities via advanced search. If you just want a single rarity, just put something like r180 to r180.
- Showing Prices: We removed the show prices option and now prices always show up by default and cannot be turned off.
- Speedier Search: We did some tweaking to take some unnecessary overheard out of the search algorithm!
Pricing System Changes -- Every so often we tweak the pricing system here at the IDB to make sure it's being used properly. However, we recently implemented a BIG change by adding a brand new feature: pricing history. We've been logging price changes for over a year now, but we never allowed public access to that data. That's different now. We've opened up our price logs to every item that has a price, showing who has changed what and what's been changed. We want to bring more accountability and transparency to the system, and opening our logs was a step in that direction. That also means that we can turn to you guys to help us keep track of anything fishy that may be going on with an item's price. If you ever suspect something may be up, report it and we'll take a look into it to see if any action needs to be taken. We appreciate all the effort some of you put into our prices here at JN, so thanks for helping us keep track!
To access the pricing history of an item, simply visit its in-depth information page and click on the date that the price was last changed. For a sample pricing history page, check out the one for the Green Apple.
Newest Items RSS! -- Now you can get an RSS feed of the newest items added to the Item Database. Check out http://items.jellyneo.net/new_items_rss.php to subscribe in your favorite reader.
Missing Information -- We're still on the hunt for information on about 200 items! If you'd like to help, check out the Searchable list and send in the missing information and IDs for any items you may have!
Firefox and IE Search Bar Plugin -- You can now search the item DB right from your browser! If you have Firefox 2.0 or IE 7, check out our latest search plugin download.
Even More Items! -- We're continuously adding new and missing items to the database. If you come across anything we're missing, give us a hand!
Link to Us! -- Want to link to the ItemDB? You can do so with our new buttons. Great for linking others to your Wishlist!
